ArmActive Youth Center NGO is going to host a youth exchange "Buzzinga!I'm a Volunteer" funded by Youth in Action program of EU.
36 participants (30+6) from 6 countries of Western and Eastern Europe (Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Italy) will be creating an Intercultural atmosphere mostly focusing on raising of participants awareness about Voluntary work, illustrating it and bringing the results of the exchange to a wide public with the help of Photography and flashmobs.
Following aims and objectives are set to achieve as a result of the project:
Raise participants awareness on Voluntary work
Promote Voluntary work as a way of Active Participation and Active Citizenship
Increase participants' competencies on Intercultural Learning
Develop skills and knowledge on Photography and organization of Flashmobs
Support European Cooperation among youngsters.
Promote EU funding opportunities for Youth Organizations
Target Group
Aged 18-25
Interested in Voluntary work and Intercultural Learning
Have an interest and/or ability in Photography and flashmobes
Committed fully participate during whole duration of the Exchange
Group Leaders’ profile
Have an experience in photography/voluntary work/flashmobes
Actively involved in NGO works
Familiarity with Non-formal educational methods
Willingness to run activities during the youth exchange
We will recruit a team of 6 memebers (5 participants+1 leader).
The group leader will also take part in the Advance Planning Visit
The APV is planned to be organized on 28-30th March 2014 in Yerevan. One participant from each country will gather together to discuss and plan the detailed agenda of the Youth exchange. More detailed agenda for APV will be distributed additionally only to group leader.
Accomodation and food
The course will be taking place at the Hotel “Mayisyan Kamurj” (Bridge of May) in Ijevan, Armenia. The accommodation will be organized through room sharing; two to three participants of the same gender and of different nationalities will share rooms - we encourage nationality-mi
The training xing! Towels and bed linens are certainly provided. Lavatories are available in all hotel rooms. The main Conference Hall and Dining Hall are all located in the same building. The organizers will provide participants with food three times per day.
Travel cost
The Organizers will reimburse 70% of participants' travel costs; the travel from the country of residence to the exchange site, and the return to the initial point of departure, upon presenting original tickets, receipts/invoices and boarding passes.
